FLOORS Frequency
1. Sweep and/or dust mop surface with dust control-treated mops or other effective tools; leave clean and free of dust Daily
2. Spot mop marble/terrazzo floor Daily
3. Spray buff corridor floor; apply floor polish as needed Weekly
4. Spray buff entrance lobby floors; apply floor finish as needed Weekly
5. Vacuum carpets; spot clean as needed (where possible) Daily
6. Remove spillage Daily
7. Damp mop floors in coffee lounges; remove dirt build-up and cobwebs from all corners and along baseboards Daily
8. Clean all marker and chalkboards with cleaning solution Daily
RESTROOMS Frequency
1. Sweep floors, mop and rinse with a disinfectant detergent Daily
2. Clean and sanitize restroom fixtures and leave free of water spots Daily
3. Clean mirrors, leaving streak- and spot free Daily
4. Clean and polish fittings and supply pipes, leaving dust- and cobweb-free Daily
5. Clean and sanitize sanitary napkin receptacles Daily
6. Spot clean partitions and tile walls; remove graffiti Daily
7. Empty waste receptacles and remove debris to designated area Daily
8. Refill towel and tissue receptacles from WTCC’s stock Daily
DUSTING Frequency
1. Dust desks, filing cabinets, bookcases, chairs, tables and other office furniture. All letter files, telephones and other items shall be removed and dusted thereunder and replaced to their original location Daily
2. Dust window sills, low ledges, moldings, picture frames, etc. Daily
3. Dust office machines as needed Daily
4. Damp-wipe tables, counter areas, and chairs in coffee lounges Daily
GLASS Frequency
1. Clean entrance door glass Daily
2. Clean partition glass, removing smudges and fingerprints Daily
RECEPTACLES Frequency
1. Empty waste receptacles and remove debris to designated areas Daily
MISCELLANEOUS Frequency
1. Sweep outside walks, approximately 10’ outside entrance and all breezeways Daily
2. Report burned out light tubes and bulbs Daily
3. Decorative private office and reception areas with special attention in keeping with the various special furnishings Daily
4. Clean and sanitize drinking fountains Daily
5. Turn off lights when cleaning is complete; coordinate departure times from building with Campus Security Daily
6. Use minimum lights while work is in progress Daily
7. Maintain janitorial closets in a neat and orderly fashion Daily
8. Wet mop all vending areas Daily
PERIODIC ACTIVITIES Frequency
1. Spray buff corridor/entrance; apply floor finish where needed includes cafeteria Weekly
2. Mop and rinse/machine scrub marble/terrazzo hard surface floors to a neat and clean appearance Monthly
3. Remove hand marks from around wall switches, door knobs, door jams, woodwork and walls Weekly
4. Dust walls Weekly
5. Wash waste receptacles as needed Weekly
6. Artificial plants: Dust/damp clean and remove debris from planters Weekly
7. Dust light fixtures Weekly
8. Dust vents Weekly
9. Dust high ledges, overhead pipes, etc. Weekly
10. Scrub restroom floors Semi-annual
11. Shampoo and extract carpets Semi-annual
12. Strip and refinish tile, marble and terrazzo floors Semi-annual
